What It's Like to Work at Cera

Hello, my name is Linsey and I have worked at Cera Kent for 15 years. I came into the business as a care worker leaving an accounts background to fit in with my family life as I had a young daughter starting school and my availability fitted well within the business.

Giving back to people is the most amazing feeling; you make life-long friends with your colleagues. My favourite shift is always Christmas Day as you are making a big difference to somebody who may not have any family and are alone.

Qualities of being a good professional carer are empathy, reliability, a good sense of humour and being good listener. The Cera Kent has amazing professional carers and office teams that support each other through the good times and the bad.
