What It's Like to Work at Cera

Hi! My name is Gemma and I have worked at Cera Wiltshire for 8 years. I became a Branch Manager 5 years ago.

I started working as a Care Worker and progressed through the ranks to become Branch Manager. I thoroughly enjoyed working as a Care Worker, meeting clients and helping them. When the opportunity came, I applied and became a Visiting Officer, writing care plans for clients, ensuring they were able to manage and that all their needs were cared for.

I have found working in health and social care to be immensely rewarding as you get to meet lots of people from all walks of life and help them to live their best life. You also get to help and support families when they are going through hard times.

I love seeing Care Workers grow in confidence and enjoy learning new skills. You have to undertake lots of thinking outside of the box to problem solve in this industry. The best thing about working at Cera Wiltshire is that we all help each other and support is always on hand.
